THE CAUSE

Hello my name is Mike Clark and I have been a natural health coach for over 25 years. I am a writer of a number of health books and the creator of The Non-Pc Diet.

I genuinely believe nature holds the answer to so many of todays health problems, including of course obesity. I also believe that weight loss should be a natural side effect of taking better care of our health. 

The obesity crisis is now at record levels and still rising. At the moment more than 1 in 4 UK adults are obese and it is estimated that obesity is now the second largest cause of cancer behind smoking. 

Obesity is now linked heavily to many other poor health conditions and there is now almost irrefutable evidence that the same thing that is causing obesity is the same thing that causes Type 2 diabetes. 

I now know for a fact that it is the consumption of one particular type of so called ‘food’ that is the root cause of obesity, and that so called food is Processed Carbohydrate’ (PC’s). 

PC’s are found in almost every single man made food and what many people don’t know is that just replacing sugar with so called healthy low sugar substitutes, won’t necessarily improve your health or even lower your weight. 

Eating low sugar or sugar free products like cereals and bread still turn to sugar in the body.

Interestingly new research claims,  those people that drink sugar free sodas, ironically often become fatter than those people that don’t drink diet drinks!

In the early 1970’s obesity in the UK was virtually non existent, yet today the figure has risen from 1 in 100 UK adults to more than 1 in 4! 

 It’s important to know the higher your percentage of PC’s in your diet the harder you will find it to control your weight, and reason is covered in the book. 

It was a few years ago through a very sad personal tragic story that I became convinced that (PC’s) are the only cause of obesity and that story covered in my new book, The Non-Pc Diet: How to have your cake & still lose weight!

The book also gives you an insight to the processing ‘food industry’. We are told its the takeaways or the high sugar content, yet, it is the every day processing of our diet that is only making obesity ever growing.

Whilst the food and diet industry make more and more money from unhealthy foods and the same old diets, they just cant lose. Whilst you the consumer are that confused you are most likely reaching the point of feeling like giving up. Well don’t, please think of your health and the health of our children.

Nearly 50% of our diet is now ultra processed foods and are not just the cause of obesity and type 2 diabetes, they are heavily implicated to cancer, and I knew this over 25 years ago. 

In 1976 a study in China showed that in the farming communities neither breast cancer in women or prostate cancer in men barely existed. 

The only way the children are going to change is following our lead as grown ups. We have to make some hard choices but I am offering to help you through this, and together I know we can make some huge positive strides. 

If you are waiting on governments either central or otherwise to help solve the crisis, they can’t, and in my experience they won’t. 

Once you know the cause of your weight gain, you can begin taking steps to cure it, but it’s almost impossible to go it  alone.

THE CURE

My lifestyle weight loss coaching method has been nationally recognised and the NHS have invited me to help coach their staff to lose weight.

My methods are certainly Non-Pc, for instance I advocate the first step to losing weight has nothing to do with food and everything to do with mental attitude.

I use a four step approach called The ABED Method, and all 4 steps are covered in the Non-Pc Diet

The Non-Pc Diet, takes the complication out of weight loss. Anyone and everybody can use the Non-Pc Diet from vegans to vegetarians to pescatarians to meat eaters.

The Non-Pc Diet means you don’t have to go hungry, count calories or even get weighed! (well no more than once a week if you must, but its better to measure your waist not count the pounds)  

When you discover that the only thing causing you to gain weight is your consumption of Processed Carbohydrates. 

 So if excess consumption of Pc’s are the CAUSE of obesity or weight issues, then to CURE we simply begin swapping Processed Carbohydrates for Natural Carbohydrates or even protein. (Pc’s for NC’s)
